Step-by-step protocol

Confirm Fit & Zone
Use a pinch test to confirm adequate subcutaneous fat for the target zone. This is for localized contour support, not overall weight loss.

Mark an Even Grid
Mark points evenly (often ~1–1.5 cm spacing). For abdomen work, keep a safety margin around the navel (e.g., ≥1.5 cm) and avoid overtreating one site.

Prep & Comfort
Cleanse and disinfect the area. If using topical anaesthetic, apply under occlusion and remove completely before injections.

Shake & Draw
Vigorously shake the vial before drawing to help keep actives evenly suspended.

Inject (Deep Subcutaneous)
Use a longer needle when appropriate (e.g., 13 mm, 27G–30G) inserted at 90° to reach deep subcutaneous fat. Reference range: ~0.2–0.5 mL per point. Stay in the fat layer.

Aftercare & Spacing
Swelling and tenderness are expected. Hydration and light walking can support clearance. Research protocols commonly reference spacing of ~2–3 weeks between applications, with course length varying by zone.
